New Friends of Kansas City

The artistically inclined are sure to find inspiration with this creative group. Currently, Scrap Booking, Needle Arts and Quilting make up our three speciality groups. Crafters of all levels of experience are welcome.

Games offer a wonderful way to meet and get to know new people. New Friends has options for all game fans; Bridge, Canasta, Euchre, Tripoli, Bunco, MahJongg, Pinochle, and Pokeeno.

Known fondly as "Serendipity," this group of adventurers meets the first Thursday of each month to shop in and near Kansas City in search of the perfect find. No matter the destination, lunch is always on the iternary as well.

Our Book Club is a diverse group of women who really enjoy a good book, a strong cup of coffee, and a very lively discussion.

Starting a new garden in a new town can be a real challenge. Find out what grows and thrives in this area, and explore the beautiful parks and gardens of Kansas City.

New Friends has several dining groups for both couples and singles. Some dine out, to try out Kansas City's many great restaurants; some gather at home for meals. Groups meet for lunch, dinner or wine tasting.

Women sharing life experiences offer one another friendship, laughter and support in a new town. Our club has three age specific groups we call "Gen Xers," "Baby Boomers," and "Empty Nest."

This group welcomes the mothers of teenagers in Kansas City. It's a great way to gain information on schools, doctors, and find out what's happening on the KC teen scene.

A diverse group with a large amount of activities to choose from including: play dates, girls night out, education programs, couples events and so much more.

This group hits the road to explore places of interest in and around Kansas City. Excursions include visiting the Nelson-Atkins Art Gallery, enjoying the Harry S. Truman Museum, or visiting a small historic town.

The whole club likes to get together to meet and mingle for special occasions. A holiday open house, a progressive dinner and a summer bar-b-q are some of the activities enjoyed by all.
