About New Friends of Kansas City
New Friends of Kansas City was established in 2002 as a social organization for women wanting to make friends, make memories and make a difference. Most of our members live in southern Johnson and Jackson counties. Many have relocated to the Kansas City area and are retirement age. The majority of our activities are held during the day with many events offering carpooling for your convenience. Plus, if you are looking for an opportunity to give back to the community with our organized philanthropy events, while developing new friendships, New Friends is the organization for you!
Members of New Friends of Kansas City access our monthly calendar of events and our membership directory by logging onto our secure website. Going online you can select wonderful luncheons programs, socials, shopping, cards/games and so much more in which to participate. Most activities are free or at a minimal charge.
Get to know us first by attending a Mug Morning…
Please join us for friendly conversation at our monthly Mug Mornings. Here is an opportunity for members and non-members to meet informally in a member’s home in order to become better acquainted with Board Members, Activity Leaders and upcoming activities of New Friends of KC. Perfect for guests, new members or members who just want to make new friends. Come enjoy a cup of coffee and an accompanying treat for a fun and relaxing morning visiting with your new friends. Guests are always welcome!
